Dear Graduating Students,
Greetings from Jaipur National University!

You will be pleased to know that the 12th Convocation of Jaipur National University will be held on Saturday: February 11, 2023. The Convocation proceedings will start at 09.00AM at Medical Lawn, JNU Medical Campus, Jagatpura, Jaipur. The degrees will be conferred upon the students of Bachelors, Masters, M. Phil and Ph.D. Programmes, who have successfully completed their programmes in the sessions 2021 and 2022.

This convocation will be a special one for the MBBS students, who will be graduating as the first batch of our University’s Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (JNU IMSRC).

Eminent Dignitaries have consented to grace the occasion and bless the graduating students.

The degree recipients are cordially invited to attend and participate in the Convocation Ceremony. You will also have an opportunity to be photographed with the Chief guests and other dignitaries.

A few memorable glances of the 10th Convocation Day Ceremony for the 2019 Batch hosted by JaipurNationalUniversity on Saturday 8th February 2020. The day was filled with excitement as the students started their new journey in the professional world. Our Hon'ble Chancellor Dr. Sandeep Bakshi encouraged the students to carry the legacy of JNU Jaipur into the real world. A total of 1950 degrees were awarded in various disciplines which included 75 Ph.D. degrees and 55 gold medals to the toppers. The event was graced with the presence of our eminent guests like Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Hon'ble Cabinet Minister-HRD,Govt. of India, Shri Bhanwar Singh Bhati, Hon'ble Minister of Higher Education, Govt. of Rajasthan & Shri Ram Charan Bohra, Hon'ble MP (Jaipur City).

Our Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. H.N. Verma quoted that JNU is world-class due to its education, research, technical, basic structure & placement. He also congratulated the students for setting a benchmark in various fields.The memorable day validated Jaipur National University for its immense diversity, education, and state of the art infrastructure.

Ninth Convocation Feb 23, 2019

Jaipur National University hosted its 9th Convocation Ceremony on February 23, 2019. In the ceremony degrees were awarded to 1453 regular students of UG, PG and Diploma courses, including 81 Ph.D. scholars. In addition to this, the University awarded degree to 14000 students of Schools of Distance Education & Learning in UG and PG programmes.

The Chairperson/Chancellor of the University, Dr. Sandeep Bakshi, addressed the gathered students, their parents and faculty members. He urged students to prove themselves worthy of the education they have received and use it in nation building. He thanked the parents and students for reposing their faith in Jaipur National University for quality and career-oriented education and holistic development of their wards.

Eighth Convocation Feb 17, 2018

1950 students were awarded degrees and diplomas, including Ph.D. Degrees. The Convocation was presided over by Dr. P.S. Goyal, Former Director of ISRO, India & Guest of Honour was Shri Mohan Lal Gupta, MLA, and Rajasthan Assembly.

Seventh Convocation Feb 18, 2017

1800 undergraduates, postgraduates, M. Phil. degrees and diploma were awarded. In addition, 67 Ph. D degrees were awarded to the candidates in various disciplines and 42 students were felicitated with gold medals honored by the Hon'ble Higher Education Minister of Rajasthan, Smt. Kiran Maheshwari.

Sixth Convocation Feb 13, 2016

1553 students were awarded degrees and diplomas, including Ph.D Degrees. The Convocation was presided over by Dr. Ram Shankar Katheria, Minister of State for Human Resources Development, Government of India (Higher Education).

Fifth Convocation Sep 19, 2015

The students of 2013 and 2014 pass out batch were honored with degrees and diplomas by Shri Kalicharan Saraf, Hon'ble Minister of State for Higher Education, Government of Rajasthan. Degrees were conferred to 2995 students including Ph.D programs.

Fourth Convocation Mar 30, 2013

1505 students of the regular mode were awarded Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees. Also 416 students of the School of Distance Education and Learning  were awarded degrees on this occasion. The Chief Guest of the Convocation was the Hon'ble Minister of State, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and Shri Namo Naraian Meena.

Third Convocation Feb 11, 2012

In all 1600 students were awarded degrees and diplomas, including Ph.D. degrees by Shri Sachin Pilot, Hon'ble Minister of State, and Government of India.

Second Convocation Oct 16, 2010

868 students, including Ph.D. degree on 7 students were conferred degrees. Dr. C.P. Joshi, Union Cabinet Minister, Government of India, was the Chief Guest.

First Convocation Jan 16, 2010

455 graduates were awarded Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees. The Chief Guest of the Convocation was Shri Oscar Fernandes, Member of Parliament and Former Union Minister, Government of India.
